No air conditioning! I specifically called the main switchboard to find out if there was air con, was told there was only to find thdre waa not! Big shame as hotel was nice and pool was good. Had to check out as was too warm and need air con!

Lovely stay ..great pool/sauna etc
Had a lovely time here. Pros & cons. (More pros though) Pros: Great efficient and quick check-in Great lunch Nice pool/sauna/Jacuzzi/steam room facilities (used it during stay) Not bad prices on food and drink Comfy bed but why did I wake each morning with a lower sore back Large rooms Large bathroom Clean..v clean Housekeeping replaced towels, cups, glasses, coffee & water etc in the room ... Nice touch Really lovely staff Breakfast OK ..I didn't find out until my last morning (once I finished my breaky) that you could order poached eggs! Anyway ..il know for next time .. And so will you. No biggie. Cons: Breakfast OK but some a little Luke warm ..depending on what time you went down Toaster one of those rotating things where you didn't know whether or not to risk burning with a second go! Pre fried eggs in ban Marie...not great, bit oily and Luke warm ... See comment above re poached eggs 🙈 (Plenty of choice though) Cold croissants..nice & large though so not too much an issue If you do not pre book breakfast, it will cost you £3 more Noisy in the morning ...doors banging, and loud conversations being had with housekeeping staff. Could maybe do with something to make the doors a slow or gentle close? Windows are a bit drafty and not very sound proof however, it may take a while to get this rectified. Although there are a few cons, they are pretty minor (apart from being woken up early) as the food, drink and staff are great and the rooms are huge.

Lovely 2 night break
Rooms were clean tidy and spacious, asked for a cot and was delivered to room within 10/15mins. Breakfast was okay, could have been hotter however it’s a buffet. Bed was comfortable, bathroom/shower was lovely and clean. We had noisy people above us didn’t complain as it’s a hotel with parties/weddings however I would have done had it gone on after 1am

Our room wasn’t suitable as we had a noisy family in the room above , I spoke to Abby the supervisor, Abby she was really understanding and changed us to another room and even upgraded us to a bigger room for our inconvenience.

If we had known that the hotel was housing a large population of asylum seekers we would not have booked it. We believe that there should be a disclaimer when booking, informing of this situation in order that prospective guests can make an informed decision. The spa pool area was literally overrun and like being in an overpopulated public baths. Glad we were only there 1 night.
