Lovely weekend away for my husband’s birthday. We were given an upgrade to an executive room which was very nice. Room was large with good views over the square in front of the train station. Dressing gowns and Nespresso machine along with tea and coffee included. A card and a small box of chocolates was sent up too, lovely gesture, was appreciated.

Great location
Cons first…the bed was very firm. That’s it! Whilst we had a view of just rooftops, we were not there for the view so it really didn’t matter. Check-in / check out on the app was seamless, keycard on the phone and just needed to check with reception about breakfast, but even that small interaction was good. Great staff, lovely spacious room (nice to have a fridge, along with plenty of plug sockets, coffee machine and an easy to use safe). Would definitely recommend!

We booked a meal and we had to sit in the bar and eat our steak meal on the small tables which was very cramped and awkward to say the least so uncomfortable and no space to dine and very awkward seating position to eat a meal.
