This property is a good location for downtown LA. The BLOC was quite disappointing so do your homework if you were expecting to find more interesting things there. The property upholds the Sheraton label but is due for an update.

Liked the location. Close proximity to dining and shopping. Very short walk to the Novo. Hotel and room very clean and new looking. Cost for L.A quite affordable. Front desk staff offered little to no assistance regarding how to navigate elevator and find my room. Kinda tricky here as you have put in room number and scan room key. (I had to ask a man nearby). Also, it is easier to use valet as finding self park was confusing. So, pay the $55 to avoid the headache. Again, Front desk person, Anna, waved me off and said, "it's over there." I had to ask the valet person, who wasn't very clear either. So, overall, very nice hotel in a great location. The service needs sone wirk.

From chaos to near-heaven
I arrived a day late due to weather/flight issues, and although reception initially took note to prepare for my arrival, another staff member missed this and took the initiative to check me out, forcing a frustrating re-check-in process. My package, supposedly delivered the day before, was initially missing, adding to my stress, though guest services quickly resolved this and found it within an hour. At the end of my stay, I was granted a complimentary late check out to ease the end of my journey. The staff were generally very helpful and polite, aside from the check-in mishap: this man’s manners and tone need to be checked. The hotel is conveniently located above a metro station and near a mall with dining and shopping options. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a coffee machine, safe, small fridge, and plenty of towels. Bathtub is a big plus after a day of visiting LA and work meetings. The hotel restaurant has good portions and a pleasant atmosphere with indoor and outdoor access. A huge shout out to Brenda, Lisa & Hunter who completely transformed my stay into a caring experience. Please tell them about this review, everyone deserves recognition for the attention they provided.

All of the staff was very professional and friendly. Our room was very clean and quiet. It was a wonderful stay and experience. My only complaint is with the ride recommendation of one of the bellmen. He waved Salvador Segovia over from across the street. I guess he’s an Uber. Mr Segovia paid no attention to where we told him we were going ( Catalina Express in Long Beach) and instead took us to the Queen Mary in San Pedro. Then argued that that’s where we wanted to be. When we finally got him to go the right direction he completely passed the street we told him it was on and then got mad at us. We finally got to our destination after twice as much time and much irritation. He didn’t want to take my card after saying he would and then told me where to list my tip. I always tip but not this time. Please tell the bellman not to recommend him. He is rude and dishonest. It was rude ending to what was a lovely stay. I highly recommend your property.

Shout out to the service staff!
We were there one night for a show at the Orpheum. Francisco from valet services was outstanding help as was Mathew in the restaurant. Very kind, professional, personable, respectful men.

Very very comfortable and clean, walkable location
Pros: Clean, comfy beds/pillows, AMAZING AC units in room, good location, very walkable for DTLA. Suggestions for hotel: - keep bar open later - have coffee available in lobby - update the tv in the room

The AC did not work in our room. The technician who was sent to our room was not able to fix the unit quickly, and he called front desk to have them change our room. Fortunately the hotel was not full this week, and we were able to change to a different room.
