Police were called In the middle of the night.
Front desk were really helpful and allowed us to check in hours early which was very helpful. Unfortunately a really bad nights sleep as next door to us were screaming and fighting all night. Police and fire department were called. Started at 3am and didn’t finish until 7am. Guests should have been removed immediately to avoid disruption to other guests. Terrible stay because of this and unlikely to stay again

The parking lot is great and I love the location. One of the employees was super rude. We checked in around 6 pm and had to leave right away for an event. We noticed the toilet wasn’t working so we called the lobby 3 times with no answer. We had to leave and decided to call again on our way back to ask for assistance. When we called, the man very rudely asked why we didn’t call earlier. We stated we called multiple times before our event with no answer. His response “well there’s two people here working so someone would have answered and it’s too late so call in the morning” so we didn’t have a toilet for a whole day and had to hold it! The beds are also rock hard. The rooms themselves are nice enough though and the AC works well.

The internet was terrible. The worst I have experienced in 15 years. Cell service was nil (was an inside room). Servers at the breakfast place were rude. No customer service. PS I travel frequently and never give reviews, but for this place I make an exception.

The hotel had a nostalgic vibe. 😊 Upon arrival, staff was not very friendly. We had room 102. Room was clean. But we heard slamming g of outside door. Not a good spot to sleep. Door was loud and obnoxious- we didn’t sleep

A meh stay at the Hollywood Hotel
The room needs to be refreshed badly. The floors and furniture were very worn. I couldn't get the hot water in the shower to come on. I stayed here about three years ago and was favorably impressed. Not so this time.

The Air conditioning would go on and off so it barely worked. The vending machines outside our room were very loud all night. The bathroom could definitely use a remodel and is very small. Parking cost was expensive considering it was a dangerous neighborhood is kind of a downer.

This hotel was no where near as advertised with the photos. The entire place smelled like old cigar/cigarette smoke. The room was decent, however the refrigerator did not work. The blankets were very thin and kept from getting warm. And additional sheets were 30$. The area was not a great area. We heard car crashes, homeless people yelling all night and not to mention sirens all night. We had no cups to drink water with and when asking the front desk, they only provided one, very thin, plastic cup. On top of all of this, ten wall outlet was displaced and looked to be falling off the wall, 2 other outlets did not work. Horrible experience, you get what you pay does not explain this stay, it’s more than that.

To be honest I didn’t stay here. I drove up, was uncomfortable with the location and the look of the property, and I gave up my reservation and booked elsewhere. The cover photo is borderline misleading- this place is not nearly as nice as it looks from the pictures.
