Malmaison Newcastle

Romantic 1 night break between xmas and new year . Room was ok , but fairly basic considering what we paid , was slightly disappointed with size of the room , bed was ok but pillows uncomfortable . Considering there were two of us , limited amount of tea bags and milk , we scrimped to get by , which is not ideal . Breakfast was delicious but very busy and not enough staff to assist , therefore quite a long wait to be seated and staff were quite stressed . Hotel itself is in a great location and common areas are nice.

One night stay, good sized room. Easy check in, parking in multi storey across the road. Food okay although breakfast was disappointing due to eggs being over cooked. Only there 12 hours so not much else seen.

Another fabulous stay.

This is my second time staying here and it is always my go-to when in the Newcastle area. It’s conveniently located and there is ample parking in the multistorey across the road, of which you have to pay a small fee but that’s expected when staying in a city centre hotel. My room was absolutely huge! The bed was comfortable and the evening meal and breakfast were excellent as always. The staff were great and couldn’t do enough for you. Perhaps the bathroom could do with a deeper clean but overall I love it here and can’t wait to come back.

A lovely stay.

Room was very comfortable and a decent size for a standard double room. Plenty of wardrobe space with a safe for valuables. Bath with shower over was nice and hot. Restaurant for eving meal and breakfast was very nice. Room was very hot at breakfast time but a nice temperature for evening meal. Service was good.
