We had a choice on arrival of 2 rooms. when we got to our room there was a big red stain on the carpet, the side in the bathroom wasn't clean, the bath tap dripped all night and the dressing gowns were very old, worn and had holes in. Not very comfortable at all. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and the gentlemen in the restaurant were very polite. The bar area looked lovely. Just the actual room we stayed in was disappointing

Hotel was lovely however we booked club lounge access and asked for opening times etc at check in and were told it was on the welcome letter, there was no mention of it and no one seemed to answer the question. Gabrielle in the club lounge however was fabulous amazing service

Good for a weekend break
Great location. Plenty of underground parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Food at dinner in first night and two subsequent breakfasts all excellent. Only criticism was that even with the window open the room was very warm (and the weather wasn’t for mid June). There is air conditioning but we don’t like sleeping with it on.

Nice hotel and reception staff very good and helpful. Big rooms and well kept. Breakfast fast was very good but to many good restaurants in the town to eat dinner in the hotel.

Overall a good overnight stay
Check-in was OK but had to wait a while as there was a queue and only one member of staff on duty, so suggest more reception staff needed to avoid delays checking in. Room 816 was good but sorry to report several carpet stains were very visible. Tissues in the bathroom had not been checked as only two left in the box. All staff at reception and the restaurant were very customer focused polite and friendly.
