Although it's on a busy street, it was quite quiet. The room was very nice and everything was in great shape. There was parking on-site, although I didn't use it. It's in a very walkable location - Walgreen's in 11/2 block away and there are restaurants everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

Good place to rest your head at the end of the day. Friendly staff, close to several restaurants and coffeeshops, and easy access to the buses. Hotel itself shows its age a little, with the shower and toilet being creaky. Also has a sliding door instead of a real bathroom door, which i don't love.

A room in the city
I live across the Bay but I stayed here the night before running the SF half marathon- it was exactly what I needed in terms of location and affordability. The ice machine was out of service but the manager went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed, giving me some of the ice that he had personally made. Check in process and parking were also super easy.

Sweet Stay
Super-friendly staff! It was wonderful to be able to park my car safely off the street in the little courtyard. This older, basic hotel is well-cared for, with new, comfy beds and bedding, a mini fridge in each room, and even a little rooftop terrace for sitting with your morning coffee! Plenty of excellent restaurants, as well as two movie theaters, shopping, and an independent bookstore within a few blocks. So easy to park and walk from the hotel to the Marina and Palace of Fine Arts. A solid deal. Will return.

The bathroom has no privacy. The sliding door leaves a wide open gap between the toilet and the beds. We stayed the first night, but left thereafter.

The property is ok. We did not have a shower curtain, of course that hurts the property and people are acustom to shower curtains. The room is ok but the renovations are tacky, cracks in the floor, the sealeant around the bathroom is un even and sloppy. The AC is good.

Very convenient hotel. We used the terrace for our early dinner and it was really a nice place. Difficult to park in the hotel but we could find a parking spot easily in the same street. Very cold wind in the evening on the terrace though. The room was clean and comfortable. It was calm and quiet while being in the downtown.
