Such a cosy and vintage room! Staff was kind and helped keep out bags when we arrived earlier than the checkin time. We got a free little breakfast box every morning of our stay. And the shower room was amazing! Loved all the jets innit. I recommend this hotel to every traveler on a budget!

There are lots of homeless people around the property and it was inconvenient. Also car parking was not done properly and car was left unlocked. When we inquired about that, didn’t get proper response.

We stayed here as a family group in the suite and it was ideal for us. We had plenty of space, the beds were comfortable and we had a small kitchen area. The staff on reception were brilliant and were so helpful and friendly. Parking is on a local car park (we opted for the valet service) and we were able to either walk to our destinations (about 45 mins to Pier 1) each day or catch a bus. The hotel offered afternoon wine and cheese which was nice as a respite from sight seeing if we were around. Breakfast was simple but fine for a coffee and pastry. As we weren't expecting breakfast this was a bonus. The hotel is on the edge of Tenderloin (a very much less desirable area) but this did not impact our stay.

We loved the property, but unfortunately it was located next to a half way house of soom sort. So it was very noisy at night. Staff, accommadations, and overall vintage feel was awesome. Maybe a little more upgrades in rooms, but that didn't bother us for the price.

Checkin process was slow. Paper copies of everything. Rooms were comfortable but warm. Windows had been left open by staff to allow ventilation but too noisy with ambulance and sirens sounds. After closing windows sound improved but was warm in room. Main floor breakfast (complimentary) included flavored yogurt, muffins, apples and granola bars! Not much to a breakfast but more of a snack bar. Neighborhood feels unsafe with graffiti and homeless people all around.

Unsafe location.
We couldn’t even check in our experience was so bad. Location felt unsafe from the beginning. We waited for valley for 15 minutes I went in and was told to go out and someone should be there. The lobby looked dingy and smelled. Even so I sat in my care with my young kids and senior parents about 15 minutes and we decided to just leave. It was awful.
