The only good things to say about this hotel is the check-in guy was nice enough and the sheets appeared clean. Other than that, it was terrible. Old, rundown, decrepit. There is a sign that says it’s independently owned and operated from Days Inn, and Days Inn should be horrified to let them use their name. Typical Days Inns I’ve stayed in are clean, relatively updated (within the last 10 years, I’m not overly picky) and at least somewhat modern. There are no words to really describe the horrible state this room was in. It did appear to be clean, but it was hard to tell since it was so old, tiles were cracked and Floors were damaged. Couch seemed to be from the 90’s and I would not sit on it, all the furniture has stains and splatters on them. The only reason I stayed is because it was a last minute booking due to flight cancellation and I was only needing it for 6 hours by the time I got there at 10pm after waiting in the airport all day and having to leave at 4 am for my new flight. The bed looked clean and well-made, but the sheets were scratchy and the mattress terrible. I probably would have gotten more sleep at the airport. It was $125, so I didn’t expect a lot, but this was pretty surprisingly bad compared to others I’ve stayed in under similar circumstances and price ranges. Lobby was gross and outdated. Pool dirty, not that I was going to use it but I walked by since it’s by the front door and it was in awful shape too.

Room #323 - The bathroom was terrible. The exhaust fan did not work, the drain plug was broken off, when you turned on the water you had a shower whether the diverter was up or down, the door wouldn't shut, and the toilet was not anchored to the floor. Apparently, the floor had not been cleaned. I put on a pair of black socks and walked over to my suitcase to get my shoes, walked back over to the bed to put them on and the bottom of my socks were white. The beds and couch were nice. Lighting was good. Did not use the TV.
Door hanging down and won't close.

Toilet not anchored to the floor.

Do NOT recommend. Room was very small, approximately 10’ x 10’ & was in a state of disrepair. Floor tiles were popping up & tub enclosure looked modified like it was covering some issue- mold? Plumbing? Looked like something you would rent by the hour, certainly not a $200 value.

The property is much older than it looks in the photos. It could def use some updating. The beds were much harder than we're used to, it needs some room darkening shades or curtains, and the pool was dirty. The room was pretty clean though and the air conditioner worked very well. It cooled the room down quickly, which is very important to us. The location was very convenient to both Raymond James Stadium as well as George Steinbrenner Field.

The property is unkempt and the attitude of service staff is ; take it or leave it; the only plus point to the place is close to the venueRsymond James stadium; I reserved a suite for 5 people and it was downgraded to 2 double for 4 people. We requested for a cot but overall declined it because it was very dirty; the whole place is poorly maintained;; you can hear everything to next room; no microwave oven nor phone ( to at least contact front desk or emergency)

We had a total of 3 rooms. The rooms were Clean, but had multiple things wrong. Light fixtures were falling out of the ceilings, bathroom fans in multiple rooms didn't work, bathroom tub in 1 room had a large Crack through the center of the tub and the other bathroom had black stuff all over the spout, the bed frame in one room was broken.

This property was very unkept. We had no hot water in the bathroom sink the faucet was set back so far on vanity top that when you tried to wash your hands water ran all over top of vanity instead of bowl. We ended up having to wash our hands in the bathtub. Half the electrical outlets didn't work you plug in you cord power would go off and on it wouldn't stay on unless you held it. You couldn't reach the toilet paper from the toilet it was 35" inches away.I was there for cancer treatments every time we left, and came we were stared at no one ever said hi, or asked how was our stay. We had our dog which was walked several times and cleaned up after. The only reason we stayed here was because it was close to Moffitt Cancer center. Our room was moldy, and stale smelling like old cigarettes. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!

The bathroom shower leaked very loudly, had to close the door to be able to sleep. The shower nozzle I couldn't engage it because it was either because it hadn't been used in awhile or just old, idk. Luckily my husband was there and able to get it pulled up. Their was others before us, hairs in the floor and shower, gross. Also the space beside the bed and night stand wasn't cleaned very well, thus tellsme that the whole room was probably poorly cleaned. The fridge made a awful noise when it kicked on.

Stay far, far away from this hotel!
Hotel was an absolute disappointment. The room had stains on the ceiling and the walls. The tub in the shower was falling apart. The room smelled of mildew and the morning breakfast was almost non existent. There are Motel 6’s that look better than the facility. Also the elevator squealed and almost didn’t open. The walls are absolutely paper thin and we heard conversations and activities in rooms above, below and next to us all night long.
