Your not safe
I booked a room at your birminham location. The check in was of no other. However i was forced to leave my room and end my trip early because security (mike) let a female into the hotel and gave her the plain white access card that opend my door, and there was an issue in the hallway of floor 5 room 503. The room was so clean and comfortable, but my experience was ruined due to your secutity just letting people or reciption giving plain access cards to anyone that knows the name on the booking. I paid £150+ for a one night stay that is definitely small to you how ever its not to me, and the fact i ended up having to leave your establishment because i did not feel safe is ridiculous. Liam

We arrived at the hotel an hour earlier than checkin and were told the room was not ready. We sat in reception for 40 mins and watched other guests arrive after us and check in straight away. When questioned we were told the room was ready to get there and find door wide open, step ladder with some poisonous substance on it and the room smelt of a bleach type substance. We went back down to reception and were given another room. We were given a drinks voucher as an apology. Duty manager Monika was polite but didn’t know how to deal with the situation and I felt that my whole stay at this hotel was ruined from the start. Plus FYI - there is building work going on outside which we weren’t aware of.

All staff were very friendly and hotel was clean. I was staying due to my anniversary and the hotel left a card and some chocolates as a gift. The only down side is parking is a bit of a walk away and quite expensive.
