Cheap and cheerful. You get what you pay for. We had a doublele en-suite room with no window. It was rather warm in the room, There was AC, which was noisy so didn’t use. Didn’t report to reception, so my fault. I’d stay here again, regardless of this, as was well priced and convenient to where we were.

Great for a place just to sleep
The hotel is spotlessly clean which is excellent. If you walk out the side of Grand Central station at the Hill Street exit it is a 4 min walk maximum. The rooms are basic but perfect if you are literally looking for somewhere to sleep. The beds are a small double just about ok for 2 people & the pillows hard. If you just want a place to sleep so you can do some shopping, or go to an event at the Utilia Arena this is ideal. There is a TV on the wall. Toilet & shower we had an accessible room so not sure if others have baths. There was 1 towel for 2 of us but more at reception if you ask. The staff are friendly.

Check in was very good and the staff, a young lady, was great. Got us extra pillows quickly and was extremely nice about it. Room was small but it was perfect for what we needed.

It was just a little small and uncomfortable for me. I needed a place to work after my trade show and there was no desk or anywhere to sit except on the bed. The room was clean but very small. The bed was hard as a rock, so I did not get much sleep. Overall the place was in a good location with restaurants and the train station close by. It was just really cramped and uncomfortable to me.

Room 203 very basic no drink facilities but these can be found in the reception. We chose this room as was only au overnight stay as visiting Utilitia Arena for the Strongest Man so if stay was longer perhaps a larger room would be booked. Great area pubs easy location for New Street rail station and easy access root to Moor Street station. Staff are excellent and pleasant couldn’t do enough as I am currently using a walking stick due to knee injury

Had all the basics we needed. It is a very tight space to be in so staying for one night is okay but I couldn't do longer than that. Clean and tidy can't complain. Pillows were way too soft so struggled to sleep.

For the centre of Birmingham it was brilliant. As it is right in the centre there are drawbacks - noise at night etc. But you don’t go there for peace and tranquility

The room was extremely small, even though it was an inner room, the music from the pubs were loud, bed very hard, the back of the shower leaked into the room. People on front desk were lovely though.
