The hotel is located on a lake in a quiet residential area. The hotel itself and the rooms are clean however, they are under a renovation so the outside Terrace was not accessible. Great place will definitely return when in the area

Awesome Find on Lake Sumter
Excellent hotel experience in a beautiful lakefront setting and a fantastic location in the middle of Lake Sumter Landing Market Square. After I checked out, I completed most of my remaining holiday shopping at the Barnes & Noble within walking distance of the inn and had a great brunch at the similarly nearby The Flying Biscuit (one of only two Florida locations). Will be back.

Shower had mold at the floor line... printer and elevator had issues... price for convenience food in the lobby was expensive i.e. $3.00 for 2 ounce chips. Paint smell in the lobby was unbearable. One bartender on for opening night at the bar... wait time for a beer was 15 minutes. Last years stay was excellent, this year not so much !

I was informed while checking in that housekeeping will only come to reset room every two days of your stay. Well after day 4 I went down to the front desk and asked why my room was not taken care of and and the reply from the front desk person was, they would leave a message for housekeeping? So after a four day stay I had to take my garbage out to the outside trash, fix my bed and no fresh towels. I thought I booked a HOTEL stay, not a fancy hostel ......

Great Location and Comfy Beds
The hotel location is excellent for walking access to Sumter Landing restaurants and activities. The staff is very kind and helpful. The beds are super comfortable, and the hotel bar has a beautiful view of the lake. Areas for Improvement: There is a huge area rug in the bedroom— it’s filthy. The lobby has very limited seating. So if you’re looking for an indoor area to read the paper and sip your coffee, you’re out of luck.
