There were multiple issues with the property including a smoke detector with no battery, squeaky beds, thin walls…but the biggest issue was no towels. We stayed two nights and had no towels…for the first 30 hours. We repeatedly asked for towels and were told there was a ‘towel shortage’. I don’t know what that means but we had two washcloths for more than half of our two day stay. It was beyond ridiculous. Don’t stay here.

Friendly staff makes this a great place to stay.
Great location. Close to beach and plenty of excellent restaurants. 20 minute walk to Lincoln Plaza but bus stops nearby if needed. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. What sets this hotel apart is the amazing staff. Extremely friendly and always happy to help or offer advice. I would stay again just because of them

The Kent hotel is a boutique property. The staff was exceptional, especially Kyle. It is an excellent location being only a block away from the beach. The added plus is a restaurant with a great happy hour and reasonably priced meals.

The location is perfect, the statt is extremely nice and helpful. The walls have no good isolation so you can hear everything that's going on in your neighbors room. The bath doesn't have vent so it stays wet for a while. But if you are there to have a great and pleasant time this is the right place to go. I will definitely be going there again !

It was our first stay at the Kent And we will definitely stay here again The staff at the front desk Alex,Carl and especially Josh provided us with excellent service and were all a great help in making this a memorable stay It was so nice to have a nice calm And quiet stay especially after exploring around the vibrant and busy south Beach the rooms are super clean and smell amazingly fresh Big screen tv in the room Nice comfortable bed ect The Kent definitely exceeded by far my expectations although it was highly Recommended to Me I had to experience the vibe for myself It’s for real!!! You get all of that for a very reasonable price

Nice, boutique hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had a problem with the air conditioner(operator error), and someone came up right away. The room was clean and the hotel is right around the corner from Ocean Drive.
