We stayed at the Hotel Riu for three nights prior to going on a cruise. The hotel is in a great location, a 5-minute walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. We had a rental car, and onsite parking was very easy. Just note there is a daily fee for parking in the garage. The hotel was nice and clean, beds comfortable. The bathroom is very small, my only complaint. The hotel has a fantastic complimentary breakfast buffet each morning, a great perk for the hotel. There is a nice seating area outside with fire pits. There is a bar in the lobby that makes it easy to grab a cocktail and go outside and enjoy the evening. Overall, this is a very reasonably priced hotel with several nice perks. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and the location is excellent. Aside from a grab and go store and a bar that didn't open until 6 PM, there were no dining opportunities in the hotel, other than the free breakfast, which was always so crowded we never took advantage of it.

The hotel is convenient to the pier activities, comfortable, clean, with nice pool. Lobby is a nice place to relax and the little store has good food. The breakfast is plentiful! My only complaint is that my grandson stayed with us for one night and they said that they had to charge us for him for our entire stay. Also, the hotel seems like a great deal until.you add in the resort fee they charge separately. It's still a good deal though and we like staying there

Nice place, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Easy check in with friendly staff. Close to pier and stores, easy walking distance. Breakfast gets really busy. Plan on waiting a little while.

This property was very clean. The breakfast was excellent! However, the toilet and tub area were extremely small! I am 5'6" 155lbs and I found it very uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was a very nice place to stay.

Really close to Fisherman's Wharf and convenient for tourists. Lots of food options nearby. Would have liked a better fitness room, but otherwise enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was excellent. Might have long lines but you move quickly - we never waited more than 10 minutes for a table.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. We were minutes away from all the piers . We were there for a stay of 10 days without a vehicle and we were walking distance to all the transportation options. Very easy to get around San Francico. We were 4 adults in the room, it was ok but the bathroom is very small. We did not use the pool as it was a bit cold, the pool area is small for the number of units in the hotel, not a lot of lounge chairs, but it was clean and they do have towels. The cleanliness of the hotel was good. The breakfast was excellent ! Even if you do have to wait a bit in line to be seated, the service and food are worth the wait. A lot of choices and everything is hot and plenty of food, never had to wait for anything. The staff is just wonderfull and always smiling. Overall we loved this hotel. The only negative part is that there was a lot of noise from the room upstairs. In the morning we were woken up very early by the people walking in the room. It made noisy cracks in the ceiling. I do recommend this hotel and i would go back anytime.

Great hotel! Everything is very clean, high standard building with a very friendly and helpful staff including a very good breakfast! I have stayed here multiple times and will return! Very close to all the tourist sights including many great restaurants in walking distance in Fisherman's wharf, Pier 39 and the wonderful Italian neighborhood of North Beach! Safe area with lots to do including the family friendly park Washington Square.

The breakfasts were delicious with lots of variety for both cold and hot foods. Room was nice and clean. The outdoor pool area isn’t great. It could use an uplift and more lounging chairs. Hotel was in a great location with a lot to see and do within walking distance.

Very unsatisfied. Safe in room was broken, TV didn’t work, the room keys took at least 10 attempts before it opened the room, I got them reset at the front desk but still had the same problem, the shower drain was slow, the water pressure in the shower was terrible. Nope won’t stay here again, you would think for the price they would at least check to see if everything was working in the rooms. BOO!!!
