I booked a king suite and immediately noticed how dirty the room was. It was so dirty that I didn’t want to sit on the furniture. (White stains) The curtains had food stains on them, the room had a horrible smell, the inside of the drawers were dirty. Faucet knob kept falling off, under kitchen cabinet had trash.,Large trash! The exit door by my staircase would not open from the inside of the building (also marked as fire exit). I went to front desk to mention how big of a problem this could actually be and was told that the “B” door is finicky like that and she would call maintenance. Highly disappointed with everything about this hotel. Everything looked old and dirty. I would not stay here again just due to the lack of cleanliness but the safety of the fire exit door not opening and knowingly having issues is another reason NOT to stay.

My credit card has been charged at the room rate twice. I'll notify the card company tomorrow about the double charge if it doesn't disappear. The breakfast was probably the best one I've had at the price of the room. Will consider a future stay.

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was just what you would expect—omelette, potatoes, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy. The hotel is OLD. While most seemed clean there was a definite lingering smell; some repairs done shoddily (like caulking); carpets are worn, floors in hallway okay. About what you would expect at this price range. Shower grout looks very worn and dirty.

I saw reviews before coming to this hotel that bedbugs may be an issue, and scoured the room each night. Only a single bedbug was found, however the shower was leaking egregiously, no staff was anywhere to be found when trying to check out at 6:30am, even after waiting almost 30 minutes. Our back door was brokem amd the AC was falling apart. I will not recommend this hotel or will be returning.
