Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and well tidied each day. Walking distance from Union Square plus shopping center. Area is adjoining the Tenderloin though which is a bit dirty

Love the Palace. The history of the hotel is fascinating and the holiday decor is beautiful! Unfortunately only 1 out of 3 elevator were working. Otherwise - a perfect stay!

Only one elevator was working meaning very long wait times. Unacceptable. Bathroom ventilation was non existent, steamed up with water dripping from roof and rust on metal. I suspect mold due to moisture and getting very stuffed up in room. Nice hotel but obviously older rooms and mechanics.
