Only stayed for 1 night. No shampoo and conditioner in the shower. 3 guests but only 2 towels. Limited cutlery in the room and zero forks. Called all 3 available numbers (reception, dining and restaurant) to try and get some but nobody answered. Ended up just walking down myself and grabbing a few from the food area.

Check-in was easy. The room was on the ground floor but away from the dining area so it was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. Everything else was ok. The car parking appeared full in the evening but we always found a park. I kept getting prompts to self check in and out but declined them as it would have been putting personal information online for no reason. I mean, reception was on the way out and in, so there was no point in doing it online. The reception was not always staffed so that may have been the reason. All in all, an ok stay. May stay again if required.

We booked this property in the middle of summer because it had a pool. On arrival we were told we couldmt use the pool because there was a function on next to it. At 8.00PM the fire alarm went off and we evacuated. Walked all the way around to the Muster Point to find no staff there, they were all still side with the function guests. It was only when we re entered the hotel and looked for a staff member to ask that we were told not to worry about the Alarm and to go back to our rooms despite fire doors still being closed. Property was understaffed and seemed very disoranised and rooms were dusty in places with poor airconditioning. Would not stay there again

Comfy, welcoming, clean
Hotel was well presented with an American feel in reception and throughout rooms. Room was clean and comfortable, reasonable size. Small windows, good blackout blinds. Sofa bed would be great if it had a mattress upgrade. Room fairly quiet. Some extra reinforcements around door to keep noise from corridor out would be great. Staff all welcoming and friendly. Pool area well kept and pool a good temperature. Would definitely return :)

I was impressed with the facilities that were available to me especially the conscientious effort to help with the environmental impact of climate change by reducing unnecessary cleaning of rooms. The inclusion of an onsite laundry would have been nice.

We stayed at Atura for 21 days, and we noticed the washrooms don’t get cleaned. Several times we noticed the room is not vacuumed, the sheets are not changed. If the sheets are stained, it was just covered by putting another clean sheet on top of it. The washroom was not mopped, and the toilets were not cleaned even when we put the room to be cleaned. Additional toilet paper was not placed, the body wash was not refilled and we had to ask them to change it. And on one incident we did not have enough towels and, when asked for it the cleaning ladies were not polite and gave a face and muttered it was not her job. Management was good, just needs to supervise the team with random audits would help.
