What We Love



This three-bedroom beach house is set just moments from Clovellys chic cafes and only a short walk from the beach. Professionally styled, the home features an open plan design spilling out to a relaxing garden setting complete with level lawns and a BBQ.



Two bedrooms feature queen beds, with the loft bedroom offering comfy accommodation for singles. Cook in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy a meal at the indoor or outdoor dining setting. Find solace in the reading nook or kick back in the lounge.



Positioned right next to a few Clovelly faves, theres TopHat Coffee Merchants a few doors down and Out of the Blue over the road where youll find the best burgs in the East! Dine at one of Clovellys chic sidewalk cafes or opt for some quality pub fare at the Clovelly Hotel.



Stroll down to the beach with your snorkels in toe and go on an underwater fish spotting adventure. Or go beach hopping along the coastal walk with links to Bronte and Tamarama in one direction and Gordons Bay and Coogee in the other.

"Maintenance & Booking Policy Note:

We are committed to providing efficient maintenance services. However, please be aware that we can only attend to maintenance issues during regular work hours. Callouts cannot be confirmed on weekends (Fridays 4 pm - Monday 10 am) and public holidays, as well as outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am, Monday-Friday). We understand the importance of prompt repairs and will respond to all requests within 24 hours, arranging tradespeople during work hours.

Our deposit policy requires a 50% payment at the time of booking, and credit card transactions will have a non-refundable fee of 3.5%.

The security bond will only be held through pre-authorization 1-2 days before arrival. Depending on the property's size, this pre-authorization hold will range from $500 to $2,000 and is required 1 day prior to arrival. Selected properties may request guests' IDs for verification.

If only it weren’t buggy
Space was perfect for our group of 7 however we discovered ants in the upstairs loft area. We raised the issue with Labode and the owner came to spray the area. Unfortunate as the loft occupants were already grossed out and ended up sleeping on the couch for the duration of our stay, minimizing our social space. They had to wash all their clothes to ensure no ants. Also a cockroach in the master ensuite. Labode was responsive in the communication and provided a grocery delivery and later check out for the inconvenience.

Fantastic Poroperty
The splendid air conditioned house has a lovely patio and lawn. Rooms and facilities are as described, all splendid! The location is fantastic! 5 minute walk to the beach where there is a wondeful licensed cafe. Convenience store, coffee houses, off licence and, up the hll a bit an Irish bar (we were there for St Patrick's day). We were within easy reach of one of our two sons, his wife and two year old girl - she loved the house!! Our other son and his wife joined us for two weeks as well, perfect. The property is very clean, has splend showers and a bath. We will definitely be looking to book again when we come back to Australia! (We live in England). One minor grip: there is no spare bed linen, so if you spend some time there, as we did, you have to launder your sheets in a day. Added to that if you leave bed linen unwashed you, apparantly, get charged for it, with a 10 am check out this is an impossibility. That aside, a perfect holiday retreat!!

This house is in a fantastic location, and it could be fabulous. With a few hundred dollars there could be an appropriate number of amenities, and then this could be a wonderful place to stay, but as it is, it’s the worst short term rental that we have stayed at in Sydney, and we have stayed in about 10 over the years. It is walking distance to the beach, but there are no beach towels provided. There is one bath towel per guest and one hand towel in each bathroom. The kitchen has lots of dishes and cutlery and an okay amount of pots and pans. There were 5 drinking glasses and one was chipped, but 14 wine glasses. There was 1 garbage bag in the bin, and no replacements. No recycling receptacle except the bin outside. There were lots of bags for the compost bin. There is a kettle and toaster and that’s it for small appliances. Luckily, there are a number of fabulous coffee shops very nearby. There are no paper towels, Kleenex, Saran Wrap or aluminum foil. There was nothing in the pantry, not even salt and pepper. There were a few tea bags and some sort of instant espresso bags provided, but we did not try them. There was one small container for leftovers. The BBQ is very rusted, so not useable. We smelled mould in the home, especially in the bathrooms. There are 12 steps to get in the property, and I don’t think that’s mentioned in the write-up. The beds were comfortable and the living room furniture was also fine. There are 6 chairs at the dining table even though the house sleeps 7. The back garden is lovely, and that table also seats 6. There were maybe 10 hangers total in the 2 closets. The handbook in the house mentions street parking, but they neglect to mention that there is a small parking lot one house over where we found parking most of the time. The neighbourhood is lovely with lots of great coffee shops and restaurants. We chatted with several locals, and we really enjoyed that. With a little effort, this could be a wonderful place to stay, but as it is now, it is disappointing.
