Decent hotel, but not if you like to sleep
Checked in pretty late in the evening but managed to get into the hotel car park for Ā£20 per night. Night porters were helpful and organised breakfast for us. Slept well Friday night. Bath rather grubby with lots of chips in bottom making it look worse. Rest of room great. Pretty good choice for breakfast. Most hot food a little bland but hash browns amazing and poached eggs cooked to perfection. Nice juice options. Staff on Saturday morning during breakfast were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Sunday morning, not so much. Saturday evening we were woken up hourly by people coming back to their rooms, shouting and slamming doors. We could also hear the lift whirring from our room each time it was called. 3 25am was particularly eventful. Scouse couple arguing at the top of their lungs in the corridor on floor 10 where we were. Heard people at breakfast complaining also about the sheer noise coming from the bars until all hours of the morning. Drive home was a slog as we were knackered

I found the staff nice and friendly. I dont like the hotel layout. Very modern and bombarded by QR codes everywhere. Young, trendy and corporate which tends to feel cold to me. Excellent breakfast.
