We stayed in the annex and the room was very good. The hotel is everything you would expect. The only downside was the parking, you either had to pay £30 for the cramped and tight hotel car park, or walk 9 minutes to St Clement Street car park for £15

Good location
Very good location, but the bathroom was tatty ... peeling paint, mould spots, etc. On-site parking at £30 per night is expensive. Got given a free drink token on arrival, then got interrogated by the night receptionist about why I had it and whether or not I had been entitled to receive it. All seemed slightly shambolic. Comfortable room though.

The privilege twin room I booked was excellent in terms of amenities (ironing board and iron, kettle and tea stuff, fridge (complimentary water and Pepsis), Nespresso machine and capsules, bathrobes and slippers, and decor. The only critical comment I would say is that the room was very warm at night and the fridge was placed inside a cupboard and not ventilated so it was also overheated and contributed to the temperature in the room. I’m sure this can be easily remedied. Overall a great stay and the staff was amazing - friendly and professional. Fahmida from Canada

I booked 6 rooms, 4 quiet small and 2 beautiful and premium. Facilities varied from room to room even though we all paid the same. Felt a little let down when I queried the rooms and was told the premiums had been booked, no I think the 4 in the premium were lucky

We came to stay to visit the Oxford Mayday celebrations for which it was an excellent location. The room was nicely decorated with all facilities. We even had a view of Magdalen tower from the room. The breakfast was excellent with all tastes catered for. The room and on-site parking were a bit expensive but this was mostly offset by the excellent location.

Great central location, good beds and helpful staff. But our room was really hot. Air-conditioning didn’t work and windows only opened a tiny bit. They gave us a drinks voucher to apologise but we had plans to go out, so a refund would have been better. They also gave us a room fan but this didn’t balance upright and was noisy, so we had an uncomfortable sleep. Bedroom and bathroom were well kitted out but mould on bathroom ceiling and around old window frames needs looking at.
