Beautiful property but it needs a few touches from maintenance to be excellent. Blinds in bathroom were broken and needed changing out. Customer service was fantastic as well as housekeeping. Overall, I would still come back. Excellent location.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. You're super close to the Boardwalk and to the Pier. The staff was super friendly. The shared balcony area was fantastic with a nice indirect view of the ocean. Parking was close by and included in the total cost. Unfortunately, the room was a little disappointing. We noticed it was a little dusty, sandy and there were some white dog hairs on the ground. The bed frame was tatty and worn. The pillows were lumpy and room vanity drawer was askew. We just didn't feel very comfortable. The bathroom looked remodeled recently but the craftmanship was poor. There was yellowish stain probably rust on the shower floors. The bath

Close to things but I don't see the value
We paid $500 for 1 night, which is insane for a room - labeled as a "family room" but it was right next to the dog area and the cigarette section. The bathroom was in the "kids" room so once they went to sleep we were not able to get in there since the door to the room isn't hung correctly and it makes a loud noise when opening. I get the high price being close proximity to the beach but that high price should also include just basic things not being a problem - like the 17 year old they hired to paid who didn't prep anything and paint is all over the tile for example. Things look hastily "upgraded", think house flippers trying to make a quick buck. Seems they slapped a coat of paint on things and said voila, it's beautiful. Homeless were sleeping on the property at night as well and it doesn't look they (or hardly anyone in SC) cleans the pavement, lots of stains from what is most likely human waste and such. Everything is priced like a luxury experience but you can see that it's just that way to extract as much money as possible while putting the very basic amount of maintenance into things again. Reoccurring problem in America but just sad to see regardless.

Best hotel I've stayed at. The receptionist was friendly and helpful with recommendations for dining and sight seeing. The rooms view of the beach is breathtaking ! You can hear the waves when you're laying in bed. It's amazing and I'll definitely return.

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had during my anniversary stay at your hotel. I specifically booked an oceanfront room to surprise my wife, as she absolutely loves the view. This was a special occasion, and we were looking forward to a nice getaway. However, upon checking in, I was told there was no oceanview room available, despite my reservation. To make matters worse, the room we were given had only a side view from the balcony, and the guest next door was smoking, making it uncomfortable to even enjoy that. We ended up staying inside the room for most of the time, which is far from the experience I paid for. I had paid for an oceanfront view, but instead, I received the complete opposite. This was a significant disappointment, especially on such an important day. I want to dispute this and expect a full refund for the room that did not meet the booking I made or the experience promised.

The hotel was cute. That was about it. The staff that checked us in was anything but helpful. Nothing was welcoming about the property. All they had were Notes about the rules and how much they would charge you if you broke them. If you’re coming from out of the area and have a question about anything around the area, Google it. That’s the answer I got from the front desk. Too much money for no good reason unhelpful unpleasant staff. Will not return again
