Clean hotel - poor breakfast
Clean rooms. Breakfast the only issue. Charging 12.00 but at no time was there all dishes available. Most of the time no eggs or toast. Coffee machine now as they don’t serve your drinks unless you order a pot of tea. Need extra coffee machine if you expect 50-100 guests to help themselves to coffee ! Common sense should prevail. Apart from breakfast rest of staff , room and bar area all excellent.

My room had terrible wi-fi and was incredibly noisy. Ruined further when the next room had their TV on ridiculously loud. I phoned reception and asked them to deal with it they said they would call and clearly didn't. Just lied to me. A sleepless night with a 5:30 AM start... thanks for that!

Terrible service but a nice room.
The booking process was awful. I found it very difficult to speak to someone about requesting a cot for my baby. Hotels.com didn’t reply to my message and the hotel phone number sent me to a main office which again didn’t help me. I emailed the hotel directly and was told the cot would be in the room. There was no cot in our room. This issue was sorted quickly by staff but was frustrating after the issues I had experienced when booking. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The shower was very low though and even though I’m not tall I had to stoop to fit under.

The property was originally Liverpool airport and at the back of the hotel are vintage airplanes ,very cool. the hotel staff were great . the manager Elizabeth was always present hands on helping to ensure everything ran smooth. We will stay again if we return to Liverpool. Very happy

Honestly this was a very pleasant stay that exceeded expectations. Hotel was warm and welcoming. Service was excellent- reception staff welcoming and Lily in the bar/restaurant was very friendly. Breakfast staff were efficient and very polite and nothing was too much trouble.

I picked this hotel because of the name, thinking it was closer to the Airport. It’s only about a 10 minute drive, but I was trying to get closer. The reason for the low rating is not having the central heating working. The manager brought a portable heater up, but it was quite cold in the shower room and it took a long time to get the room slightly warm. I ate a hamburger for dinner from the restaurant, the hamburger meat was terrible, quite chewy and grisly.

The property was suitable for our plans and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The property continues to go through refurbishment where we had to move rooms three times due to issues with windows and aircon, even the third room had issues with the aircon unit and TV but we’d given up by this point. The communal areas are fresh and use of the pool next door was also great for the kids.
