Walkable to and from downtown monterey, cannery road, to the aquarium. The room was nice and well lit, plenty of sunlight in the morning, bathroom was spacious, room was spacious. The only negative this to say is the room had plenty of furniture, an extra random side table against a connecting door.

We stayed three nights from 12/23-12/26. The rooms were good. Our group of six people (three rooms) reserved for the Christmas Buffet, which was definitely overpriced for the price of $89 per person. Food was cold, and not very many options. More cafeteria style than an opulent buffet as advertised. All of us were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and the cold ambiance of the room.

I’ve stayed here a few times, hotel lobby is nice and the rooms are decent. Only complain I have is check in was at 4pm and my room was not ready till 5pm first time I’ve encountered this at any hotel. Was not happy with that experience.

Great location to downtown and the nearby trails. We didn’t know that we needed to call the front desk to request the garbage take out. But eventually I made a request with the staff at the front desk, the garbage remained in our room. Well I can understand it was New Year’s Eve so the businesss was a bit busier than usual.

I never ever complain but our time here was a bit frustrating. We arrived later in the evening and were exhausted. Upon arrival there was a high pitched ringing in our room. The maintenance man who was very kind tried to remedy the situation but to no avail. We switched rooms to one that wasn’t as nice. Plus packing up all of our stuff was quite a pain. We were accommodated but beyond the maintenance man no one else was sympathetic. Even a simple, I’m so sorry, would’ve been appreciated.
