A good choice at a reasonable rate
The stay was good. The staff was polite and accommodating. The hotel was clean and secure even though the neighborhood is in a poor economic area of Hollywood. There is a Starbucks within walking distance, but do not walk at night unless you are young, strong, and healthy. The room key lock system was down for 48 hours during our stay, so the staff had to escort us to our rooms and let us in with a master key. This was resolved during our stay. It was inconvenient, but the hotel management and staff handled it well.

Bitten by bugs in the room. Fire alarm went off at 7.30am, nobody explained what was happening, the hotel evacuated, but the receptionist was sat behind the reception desk texting on her phone. When the alarm finally stopped, nobody came out to tell us what had happened or if we could go back in - really poor.

I stayed at Hampton Hotel recently and had an unbelievably bad experience. Due to a technical issue, my room key didn’t work, and I was told to rely on security for room access. When I returned from dinner, security wasn’t around, so I asked the front desk for help. The same staff member who initially told me to go through security scolded me, saying she had just escorted another guest and now had to go back up because of me. Just then, security arrived and took me to my room, but she continued to be rude without a single apology. I’ve never experienced service like this. If you’re looking to be yelled at like a child, this is the place for you. Avoid if you value respect and professionalism.

Excellent hotel for easy access to Hollywood Blvd.We loved our stay! Breakfast was great each day, waffle machine awesome. Free coffee in lobby was great. Good gym. Pool was good. Beds were comfortable. Very clean hotel. Location outside a little sketchy but not too bad. Overall would recommend!

The key card system didn’t work when we arrived. The front desk person said our room number out loud--big issue. Then when they verified I was a Hilton Honors guest, we didn’t receive water. I had to ask for it. The accomodations were very nice and we were fsirly close yo our intendrd destination. The 4 hours for breakfast were convenient.

Their key service was down and we couldn’t come and go without relying on security to walk us back to our rooms. My husband had to get something from the garage and got trapped because you need a key card to use the elevator to leave the garage. The outlets were all lose and wouldn’t work. We had to use the ADA room because my son need a bath rub and it looked like the room hadn’t been touched in a while. When we asked one of the staff about the key cards she was annoyed and talked about how it’s effecting them. What about the people who are paying to be inconvenienced?
