We feel that this hotel is a Diamond in the rough. When approaching from the East you could feel that this is not an area you should be in ,however when you open the entrace door you are wisked backed in time to the glamour of past Hotels. Knowledgeable Staff ,friendly , helpful. Has great restaurant and Cafe on the premises . Paramount Studios 5 min walk excellent tour.

This place was fantastic! Great staff & the tamales across the street are the best. Only drawback was the rude euro front desk person. Very arrogant & smug. Micheal was the best. Room was clean & comfortable.

Hidden gem that's close to everything. We've been all over LA and everything is about 30 mins away. Micheal at the front desk is awesome and have great advice. Edmon Bar great cocktails and the food was outstanding!

The property and room were very clean. The in room programmable safe was a great feature. Loved the vintage elements and design, it’s a building with a lot of history that has been well maintained and cared for. Concierges were friendly and made helpful recommendations. The Edmon bar and restaurant was beautiful, tasteful and added value to our stay. We hope to visit again soon!

Good place.
Really good location, not too far from Hollywood Boulevard and if you're renting a car and don't wish to pay the $18 parking charge there's some street parking nearby. Could've used a coffee machine or even a kettle, but apart from that had a really nice time. The bar is good. The photos of historic Hollywood are awesome. The Mexican next door is really good, better to head there around 9 then the coffee shop next door as it's steep.
