Not what I expected for the price and Miyako Brand
Room was hot that we were unable to fall asleep and even though maintenance came to reset it twice, the issue was not resolved. They brought us a fan as their solution.
Sliding door latch was broken and they were able to fix it. Didn’t want to leave our room without that issue being fixed as someone could enter our room.
Remote for the tv needed a new battery, they provided a new battery.
The following issues were not reported because I could live with it and night person who answered our call was rude and hung up on us when we called a second time to report that the AC was still not working. I didn’t want to encounter another negative experience.
- Reading lamp was not working.
- The toilet paper holder seemed to be repaired using hot glue and it was barely hanging on. Had to carefully hold the roll holder while taking the toilet tissue.
- The towel rack easily popped out and needed to be put back on every time I removed my towel.
- coffee and tea were not refilled on the final day of our stay.
The hotel location was excellent, safe and clean. The room was dated but still okay if everything worked properly. The self parking was readily available. Some staff had excellent customer service and greeted guests wonderfully and provided an atmosphere that we expected from the Miyako brand, like the young gentleman that helped us bring our luggage to the room and the housekeepers. The front desk was not as I would expect and did not have basic customer service skills.
