This hotel is in a great location. Close to great dining options on Hillhurst Ave, Franklin Ave and N. Vermont Ave in the Los Feliz area. The rooms are a bit bedraggled but the beds were comfortable. My room had a small table but no chairs. The blinds were broken and the window AC unit was difficult to operate because most of the buttons were so small and rubbed out and so were nearly indecipherable. There were no screens in the windows so cracking the window for fresh air was not possible. It was stuffy and stale in the room. There was no lamp on the shelf between the 2 beds and the light switch for the very bright overhead recessed ceiling lights was at the front door. I chose this hotel because it has a pool. However, the pool was closed because it was getting a “facelift “. On a positive note, the Front Desk staff was Super nice. Also, it was quiet and there was a very kind overnight Security Guard who guarded the parking lot at the center of the property and all of the hotel rooms which all faced the parking lot. I really appreciated these positive aspects of my experience.
