We have stayed at the Mercure before and it is in a great location for shopping/transport etc. They still supply a great breakfast with a large choice and nothing is too much trouble. I do have a couple of small niggles our room was not serviced though out our stay and had to ask for tea coffee etc all the time. I mentioned within two hours of our arrival that our safe was locked. The staff came to unlock it on the third night of our stay. One thing that is really anoying is the service charge at the bar. I ordered at the bar and had to pay an additional 57 pence for the privilege of having it brought to me!!! Please get rid of this penny pinching charge or just put it on the price of a pint.

I go to Manchester regularly and always stay at the Mercure big room always clean reasonably priced breakfast nice view across Piccadilly gardens and the staff were very good can't fault it

It was a gate visit close to trams and shops ideal for getting to the new co-op Arena for concerts the room was clean and nice big tv

Clean and quiet room on a high floor, I did have to complain to my neighbouring room as they woke us twice during the night being very loud slamming doors and on the telephone. But otherwise there was quiet. The lady at the front desk was able to check us in early which was super helpful!
