What a great get-away destination! Very relaxing, laid-back, great friendly staff. Food was excellent. The property has a very unique charm and vibe. Quiet and calming. Wife had a message by Steve that she described as ā€œlife changingā€. We canā€™t wait to go back. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The sparrow was by far one of the best places Iā€™ve stayed. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I really felt like a community. It was my girlfriendā€˜s birthday And they did a special champagne bottle and card when we entered our room. My girlfriend loved it, will definitely be staying there again.

I stayed 2 nights and I easily couldā€™ve stayed longer. It WAS hot 110 degrees butā€¦.. as they say itā€™s ā€œdryā€heat and I was in the pool the entire time. My room was cozy and clean. The stone shower was great, it felt like I was showering outside. If it hadnā€™t been so hot, the hammock on my patio wouldā€™ve been a perfect place to nap or read. The restaurant there was perfect and I like that, I didnā€™t have to leave the property. Iā€™m a very picky eater. Fortunately, the menu had lots of choices so, I didnā€™t have to sound like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally!! ā€œ Iā€™ll have the chefā€™s salad oil & vinegar on the side, and the apple pie a la mode, but, strawberry ice cream not vanilla & on the sideā€ you know the deal! Breakfast, which is included, offers delicious banana bread along with yogurt, granola and fresh fruit. Youā€™ll find Jen & Desi in the barn (where the restaurant is)! Theyā€™re warm and welcoming, fun to talk with and they made sure, I had everything I needed. One last thingā€¦. I admit, I WAS disappointed that they donā€™t allow pool ā€œtoysā€, floats, rafts or noodles!! Iā€™d been dreaming about quietly, floating in the pool with my stupid noodle!! Itā€™s their off season so, there was never more than 4 people by the pool. It wasnā€™t like it was so crowded, I was at risk of accidentally, bopping someone in the head with my noodle! Oh well, Iā€™m hoping that policy will change. But, that was the ONLY thing that disappointed. 10 out of 10 !!
