The entire experience was a beautiful one. First time here and I’m definitely returning back in February. The staff was absolutely lovely from the valet the the servers in the dinning room area. The only thing that I would say is that lobby staff in the front desk could be a lot more friendlier. Other than that, loved, loved this hotel! Thank you.

Hidden fees after check out I hit charged 50 plus dollars I know 30 was for parking it’s fine but the rest it’s just hidden fees it’s really dumb. Staff is very disregarding too. I did not feel welcomed at all. It’s really pretty but such of waste of money when it comes to the whole thing.

Great spot.. beautiful architecture and decorated for the Christmas season. It is in a great location close to restaurants and bars. Had trouble getting hot water at night and in the morning for shower, but when I called them about it, they waived resort fee.

Don’t stay here, stay at the Marriott lol
I booked through the app for a 2 night stay for a spontaneous trip to the mission inn, paid around $500 thru this app & I got there and I got to the front desk to check in and noticed a small group of pilots & flight attendants waiting to be checked in, so I stood behind them in line and quickly realized that I knew it was going to be difficult to check in, I didn’t know how or why but seeing the issues that were already happening with the southwest employees had me scared. Not sure exactly what happened but they walked away super upset, so my turn next, she couldn’t find my reservation, my prepaid reservation, i literally had all the receipts & everything & she than proceeded to tell me there’s nothing she can do and I would have to resolve it with hotels.com!! So there I was standing there already for 15 minutes trying to get my reservation found; mind you it’s kind of late & it’s me and my 5 year old son at 8:00pm & not a manager in site who could resolve it. All of a sudden a guy and his bride (literally still in her wedding dress) interrupt us super angry talking about “how much longer do I have to wait to get help with getting in my room, we’ve been waiting for 30 mins in the cold…) 10 mins later, she’s back to helping me, tells me I have to either pay again or I’m SOL, because she couldn’t find my reservation. I choose to pay again, she than tells me the price is $490 A NIGHT,heck no, I want what I paid $480 for 2 nights!After a few mins she fixes the price & I stay

Really noisy!
The grounds were very cool and fun to explore and I'm sure our stay would have been nicer had we not been put in the corner room of the building on the first floor. We heard the lots of traffic,the crosswalk signal and every word that anyone spoke while walking by. It was a long sleepless night needless to say. The room was was clean but in major need of updating. Unfortunately, because we booked through a third party, we have no recourse and they couldn't do anything to rectify the sitiation except to wave the resort fee (which never happened) and tell us to book a more deluxe room next time and it would most likely be quieter. No problem, I highly doubt we'll return.

This property is about the only place I stay in Riverside California. It is definitely a charming historical masterpiece and a fun place to visit. I think cleanliness is good. It however, is reflected in a very very old property and there’s so clean that can look. I love it and I’ll go back again.

Hotels.com photo might be incorrect.
the hotel is beautiful. our room shown in the Hotels.com photo vs. the room we got was different which was disappointing - we booked the Glenwood King, which was confirmed at the property, but when we went into the room, it looked more plain, like a Deluxe room. It could be that the photo just is not updated. Still, it was a great weekend away.

The hotel is absolutely stunning during Christmas! The room and staff were wonderful and accommodating. We will definitely be staying again soon.
