Had a small suite with bedroom and sofabed. Sofabed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The springs creaked, the mattress was thin, the frame was lumpy, the bed was too short for a 6ft person, so my feet kept hitting the freezing metal frame. No obvious heating controls in room. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were really polite and helpful. Toilets in dining room were filthy.

I stayed in a two bed apartment. It was a good size and the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. The beds were incredibly firm and the mattresses felt like hospital wipe clean mattresses. The shower was powerful and hot. Breakfast was a fiasco. Told I had to book a table for breakfast as its table service only. Duly did so. The following morning I had to queue for 15 minutes behind several people who had not booked ā€œso sorry they are corporate clients and we donā€™t know when they will turn up and we donā€™t prioritise guests with reservations during the weekā€. Then I was served a fruit salad comprising of just slices of apple and two pieces of melon ā€œso sorry itā€™s been a busy morning so weā€™re out of fruit saladā€. The following morning I was asked if I had allergies. I said I had a lactose intolerance and selected vegan choices from the menu and asked for oat milk. I was brought dairy milk for my tea and butter for my toast. The swimming pool and hot tub were nice.
