Clean, with No Frills

In some ways, this stay was better than other Hampton Inn stays on the same trip. There was Charmin TP in the bathroom, tissue in the Kleenex box, liners in the wastebaskets. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and soaps on the counter. The refrigerator worked beautifully. Parking and access to the room could not have been easier. Easy check out in the morning. No Frills: the bed was moderately comfortable, no extra blanket, no closet or drawers, no microwave, no ice, no continental breakfast, no coffee.

Well priced and well appointed

Property is undergoing renovations. We had a mostly renovated room and it was great… clean, comfortable and well appointed for a very competitive price. Check in was easy. Neighborhood was fine. A couple of good restaurants close by. Only complaint was the area rug under the bed was old and needs replacing… but assuming that will come in time. Definitely would choose again.

Rooms are basically new due to renovations. Mini fridge and safe. No ice nor soda machine but store 1/4 block away. No iron is only complain. Great stay!✌

This is a property that has had a lot of work done, and the rooms are quite nice. Unfortunately, there are no coffee machines and no place close by to get coffee. No microwaves either. Also, we were not told until after we made a non-refundable reservation that there was construction work going on at the property starting at 7 am. The host was nice.

New renovation is great for a hotel/motel in this class. While work is still being finished to some of the outside structure it had absolutely no effect on my stay. Room was great, nice with good lighting and modern furniture/colors (far cry from what you normally get in this class). Great value overall. Only down-side is there's nothing around it in terms of cafe/dinning. Will need to take a long walk or drive.

The property is prety well kept and in a convenient location. I liked everything except no ice bucket& ice machine are available on the premises. And I didn't like the spiders that met the bottom of my shoe. Luckily I saw them before I got into bed. I think a little more attention to that would make everything great. It is a good value I believe.

Affordable, great location, and comfortable

White Caps was clean, comfortable, and affordable. It is conveniently located five minutes away from CMH and within walking distance of downtown Ventura. The facilities are brand new. I especially enjoyed the beautiful shower and comfortable bed. I stayed for six days because I had to be at the hospital every day, so it was great to have a clean and comfortable place to rest after a long day there. The staff was also courteous and very kind. Thank you for a great experience! I will definitely be coming back when visiting Ventura.
