Our check in went ok. The room was on the first floor down stairs as if you were on a ship. The room itself was dated and rough. There was a portable heater which came in handy as there was a vent on the wall blowing cold air all night. Every time someone turned on or off the water there was a clunking sound, all night. The attendant's dining recommendation a few blocks away was closed on that day but there was dining a crossed the street behind another building. Would had been nice to have updated info. When we checked out we were bluntly told we could not have a paper receipt as we booked through a third party. First time I had heard that. Just not a good experience. Would not be a repeat or referral for us.

The property is nicely kept and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very nice. The room was very clean but a bit too warm at times. Overall, a nice stay. We will definitely visit again.

Okay....okay normal hotel. No water service, the hotel needs u to pay even for water at very high prices. Water is the basic necessities of life & for that as well they charge you extremely heavy then or ask you to go out and buy water. Rooms are like pretty small & conjusted. No sofa to sit. Just a room & bed to slp.

The staff was great! Very friendly and check in and check out was smooth. The cleanliness however could improve by a lot, bed sheets were not quite clean and we needed to get it changed.

This place has a lot of charm, the room was small but still quite cozy. I'm an insanely light sleeper (I usually wear earplugs at home) but the noise was not only minimal but easily manageable with my usual gentle ear plugs. Vending machine at front appears to be managed by the property rather than one of the local vending companies so the prices are lower than most. While I was there they even had a toothpaste and 2 toothbrushes bundle for 6 CAD if you forgot yours which was a nice touch.
