The property was very old and dated. Our room was cramped smelly and unrenovated. I left after the first night. The restaurant had excellent food and the staff were very helpful.

I booked for family whose flight arrived at 10:00 am. The hotel had their room available and they were able to check in immediately. Travelling with a 3 year old this allowed them to get a post flight rest before exploring the downtown core. Easy checkin and checkout and very nice room.

The hotel was in a great location, but out of date and terrible view(Days Inn roof). The TV cabinet couldn’t even be opened all the way due to the desk being in the way. The pool is in a very strange location (through the parking garage). Everyone was super friendly, just not as nice of a hotel as the outside, cost and pictures made it seem.

Amazing time at the Hotel Grand Pacific. The staff were very welcoming. We managed to park in the underground car park and the checkin process was swift and welcoming. When we got to our room it was large enough for 4 of us with 2 queen beds. The pool was very welcoming for families offering the kids goggles and toys to play but beware the pool and gym facilities are open to external members and sometimes classes are running with lots of seniors scared to get their hair wet so can be a bit uncomfortable for parents with splashy kids. The sauna steam room and jacuzzi are a great addition. We had drinks in the Fathom bar which were great especially during social hour. The hotel also offers to plant 2 trees for every day tou dont have house keeping which I thinks is a great idea.

Nice view. Convenient to dining, downtown, parliament building, and the wharf. Service and rooms were excellent. Restuaurant was nice with good food. Very quiet and lobby and grounds were not overcrowded.

The shower would not turn on. We tried everything we knew. We have stayed in many hotels and never had this problem. We needed to leave so we did not call the desk. When we checked out they told us we had to pull both the water temp lever AND the shower/bath selector to turn on the water. There of course were no instructions. When we checked out a random maintenance guy said “they had an unusual shower system”. This was a very expensive hotel. Our bill for one night was almost $500. There was no attempt by the staff to make this situation right or offer us a discount. We had booked a water view room and were put on a lower floor where the trees blocked the view. Very sad hotel for the money. Do not say here.

The Hotel Grand Pacific was fantastic hotel and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The property is located centrally in near the water, so things were walkable and the area. It was family friendly and the staff were polite and accommodating. The only issue we had were some minor maintenance issues in the bathroom, but those didn't detract from our trip.

I chose the room with the harbour view. Nice and peaceful. And what was unique about this hotel is the famous Parliament Buildings right beside it.
