Everyone was very nice and helpful. The cafe inside hotel was really good, and the buffet breakfast was great as well. I liked that it was not far from shopping nor was it far from bc place as we were there for Taylor Swift. great trip!

We stayed at the Century Plaza hotel for the Taylor Swift Concert. Overall I would say the hotel is clean, well kept and moderately nice. The room we stayed in was spacious but quite dated. The included breakfast was a nice addition and staff were helpful. The hotel is centrally located, about a 20 minute walk to Robson Street and other attractions. The cost for staying during the concert was significantly more than usual and I did not think it warranted the upcharge as the rooms are dated and minimalistic, not exceptionally memorable. I would not stay again but wouldn't discourage others from staying at a more reasonable price, just expect the basics. With that said, I did not use the pool or gym, which could add an extra benefit to your stay.

The location was great. I wasn’t pleased with the price gauging due to the Taylor Swift concert and given we paid more than we have ever paid for a hotel room, it was disappointing that our “double” room was two full size beds for 4 adults. We barely fit on the rock hard beds which made good restful sleep impossible. The temperature in the shower fluctuated between freezing cold and burning hot without touching anything. Our cords fell out of the plug-ins with only some outlets actually working.

Stayed during a very busy time but staff was efficient and friendly. Room was clean, housekeeping staff was quick to bring up things we asked for. Gerry made the stay for us. He helped us with our bags but we got 3 great food recommendations and some great information. The hotel is well situated, walkable to Granville island, Ferry terminal, grocery stores, and restaurants. 2-3 minute Lyft/Uber waits.

Amazing customer service!
Every single employee (housekeeping, front desk restaurant employees and concierge) we met was kind and super friendly! They went above and beyond to make our stay warm and friendly. Took a friend and our daughters to a concert and the hotel had themed cookie and complimentary breakfast for us. It was amazing!

Have stayed many times at this hotel. Average hotel, usually not bad, some small typical issues in the past. The last stay was a disappointment and upsetting due to plumbing problems and water issues very annoying. Yes a room change was offered for the 2nd night, but too much wasted energy and time to repack/unpack to change suites for 1 night. As compensation they did waive two nights parking. However I will not stay at Century Plaza ever again.

The hotel was overall fine. We booked a king size suite room and was put into a double bed suite room. I will say they did offer to put us in a new room but we decided it was okay how it was. The stay was overall good, I think the only two things I'd mention are that the room with the beds was so stuffy and hot, seemingly there was no way to turn the heat off so we had to sleep with the window wide open to get some fresh air. There was also black mold growing on the ceiling of the shower so I didn't actually feel super comfortable staying there longer than 48 hours. The suite we were in could definitely use a renovation. The fridge was yellowing in colour and the carpeting was coming up in some of the corners.
