Probably the best hotel experience in the past five years and I travel extensively. Everyone on the staff was cheery, helpful and fun to be around. Great environment, food onsite was better than many local restaurants too! Already planning another trip back, just to stay at Kimpton Alma again.

We loved our suite we upgraded too. The service in the cafe downstairs and by the pool were great some days and different staff it was just ok service not constant at all. I will never stay again because of the constant noise from the train/tram and the pee smelled streets everywhere

Love this hotel but paying for parking was not it, the parking garages were cheaper than the valet at the hotel but still. Hotel and staff were great besides the day that it took the whole day for us to wait for towels.

The property was average compared to the photos. I personally felt that the bathrooms and carpet in the room could have been cleaner. Beware that nightly valet prices are high and there’s not street parking. Homeless people are often roaming outside on the street, so it could be a bit discouraging if you are a person who likes to go for walks downtown or in the hotel area.

We rented a suite and we had bed bugs and we have to change to another room, and the other suite had dog hair all over the place, the bed is not comfortable at all.

A decent stay
The hotel was perfectly nestled within Gas Lamp. Pool: intimate and clean. The food and drinks were amazing. Front desk: very helpful especially when i left my keycard. Esthetically it was beautiful however the only negative is the homeless community pee on the sidewalks and the smell is awful. We were on our 14th floor balcony and could still smell urine.
