The room 220 is literally over the staircase entry you hear EVERYTHING traffic right outside the room is terrible! They need hurricane windows in room 220. The bathroom is huge could have spare a few more feet for a king bed

For a 3-star hotel charging $270 a night, this is the worst Best Western we’ve ever stayed at. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a poker face, and my husband and I were immediately put off. The front desk staff seemed uninterested and lacked basic professionalism. I mistakenly gave my name for the reservation instead of my husband’s, and rather than asking if it was booked under a different name, the staff awkwardly asked when we booked the room. Then, she asked for our credit card, only to look at it and hand it back, which made no sense. To the front desk girl who checked us in: if you’re going to work in hospitality, it’s time to step up your game—and maybe work on fixing that poker face. The room was outdated, with a dirty old carpet, and the bathroom reeked of chlorine bleach. If it’s your first time in San Diego, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We only booked this hotel because Kona Kai, right next door, was sold out, and we definitely won’t be back.

I liked everything about the property. I especially liked our room.as we had a view of the water and watched all the ships sailing by. There were many nice resraurants in the vicinity along Harbor Blvd. We shopped at Sea Port Village only a short drive from our hotel.

A night away from buzzz
Location is quite far from main attraction if u don't have a car otherwise Uber is available. Surrounding feels very safe and calm, good for relaxation or just to stay away from noise and crowds. Environment is very clean. The hotel itself looks a bit old but well kept and clean. Only met a couple of staffs but they seems friendly and acommodating. A lot of parking available outside and a nice view of the bay and San Diego.

Great hotel! It’s a fantastic location! Nice rooms and fantastic views is Point Loma and San Diego. The staff is fantastic. Very pleasant and efficient. I highly suggest the stay here!

On check in I mentioned that my partner was wheelchair handicapped, she still put us in a room that required us moving over uneven unpaved ground to get into our room. On check out, the counter person compensated us for our inconvenience and the fact that no one came after our calling the desk to help with a desk light that would not come on.

Such a beautiful location! My five year old daughter and I stayed here and we both loved it. Right on the marina, she loved looking for seals and seashells. The cutest little burger shack out on the pier across the street. Fishing available on the pier with no license necessary. A park on the waterfront across the street. About a half hour walk to local ice cream shops. Beautiful!

Great 2 night stay.
Amazing rooms. Very large, very clean, quiet, amenities included and view was fablous. Our room faced the Marina and was a georgous relaxing view. Will definitely be staying again. Only draw back if you want to park on the property they charge $25 a night. We were able to park across the street and it was fine.
