Wonderful hosts
This is our 2nd time staying here, and hopefully not our last. Jorge and his family are very accommodating! Parking is a breeze, the AC works great, all appliances do as well! There’s a nice private patio and plenty of space for all of your belongings! It’s super close to grocery and some good restaurants as well. Having the gas station 4 blocks away is nice too.

Short stay for Padres game
The place was clean, a little smaller than it looked. The only problem was the garage was right above the bedroom, up and down quite a lot. Owner used garage instead of the front door, it was not great to have it used so frequently 🙁

Peacefull cottage
This cottage was in a perfect location for us. We were close to local family and shopping and recreation. The home was clean, and we appreciated the luggage storage, the filtered water, the wifi, the oversized shower, and the quiet neighborhood. The host was responsive and although they were onsite, they were quiet and gave us privacy.

We hope we get to stay here again in the future! The place was clean & very well maintained. All appliances worked well & the wifi was reliable. Being able to park on the driveway was a huge plus (even though there’s plenty of street parking). There’s not much to walk to in the area, which was not a problem for us since we had our car. But something to think about if you’re traveling without a vehicle.

Perfect place!
This place was perfect for us (a 60s+ couple). Quiet, comfortable and fitted with every convenience we needed and with nice decor. Jorge was a great host, checking with me prior to our arrival to make sure we had the necessary information and then greeted us on arrival. My co-worker and I stayed here while attending a week long conference hosted at UCSD. Location was close enough for an easy commute in the mornings and evenings, and much nicer than a hotel since we had a kitchen. Would def. book again if I had a similar situation.

This property is in a nice quiet neighborhood that is an easy 15-20 minute drive from most of the major attractions in San Diego. The unit is clean, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is great for preparing meals. The owner is very responsive and polite. We would definitely stay here again.

Exactly what we needed
I'm a local and needed a place to rent for a few days while my house was being painted. I was so lucky to have found this little gem that had my dates available last minute! We checked in on a Saturday and spent a few hours at the beach, Sunday relaxed by the pool and got some remodel research done. Sunday eve spent an hour in the Jacuzzi. The rental has everything to be able to enjoy cooked meals and close to take out food options. So much better than staying at a hotel! Met Jorge, Elsa, and the family and you will feel well invited. Great communication, beautiful property, and good location. Have breakfast on the patio and enjoy the view!

Great apartment but disappointed in overall experience
The apartment itself was very nice - small, but just what we needed for two adults and a three year old. It was very nicely decorated, clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We we chose this location because of the private use of the pool. We were disappointed that the pool was not heated as promised and, even after the owner indicated he would heat it for our use on our second day, it was never heated. We were also disappointed to find that one of the household members was smoking in the backyard while we used the pool. If the listing had mentioned the outdoor space was shared with smokers we would not have booked it.

The best part is that we felt the place was ours.
We have continued to return to this property due to the ‘hands off’ atmosphere where we could come and go, and do our business. Really appreciate the autonomy of this little apartment in a vast neighborhood. We appreciate the quiet, and the space to come and go. Great place if you are introverted, or just want to relax and do your thing.
