Although the hotel is hip and geared to a much younger clientele, the beds were hard as a rock, the rooms are tiny and there is no coffee maker no fridge or anywhere really to store your stuff. The location of the hotel is really what you’re paying for. With gaslamp strip a street away.

Love the brand of quirkiness, - checking in at the bar and relaxed attitude. Room was as expected, stylist minimalism. Everything you need nothing you want. - Downfalls are the loud bass of the club next door until 2:30am and the smell of pot whifting through the vent in the middle of the night.

When you enter the building you walk straight into the bar to check in. Of course it smells like alcohol that's been spilled all over sticky floors. Music is loud the choice of food is limited to bar foods. The area around was unsafe with broken bottles in the street. I'm housed people living outside the window of my room.

Property is very nice, & in an area packed with things to do. Naturally, this can make parking without the valet a major pain, but it’s possible with luck and/or patience. Bar check-in/out was different, my eyes didn’t notice either of the signs. Staff was very friendly all around

The rooms are ridiculously small, I am used to New York hotels which are small but these are smaller. No room to walk around, no sitting area, tables, coffee pot or a mini fridge. For the price I paid, I feel the accommodation should have been more. I gave a 3 star only because of the incredible staff and cleanliness of the facility otherwise I would have given this a 1 star. I would not stay here again

Small room, but clean and with a great view. We liked the bar downstairs and the board games to play. Walking distance to all Gaslamp Quarter areas and a quick Uber to most anywhere else. It was extremely loud until 5:30 in the morning though, so if you’re looking for a peaceful stay, this isn’t it.

Such a cool place to stay. Great bar and secret (kinda) speakeasy. Lots of fun places to walk to for night life and a great bakery down the street for a pastry and coffee. Loved it
