I truly appreciate Shinjuku Prince Hotel for being so understanding. We had a reservation for 3 nights but our flight got delayed 17 hours due to Typhoon Ampil. They were so kind to waive the cancellation fee of one night and we were still able to keep the 2 nights stay. Thank you again for this! The area is very busy but it worked very well for us because we love the shopping area and restaurants! We really had a pleasant time at Shinjuku Prince Hotel.

It’s a nice hotel but they need to do something about the bathroom/showers. All the water comes out of the shower/tub when you’re showering. Also the bathroom (toilet) needs to be cleaned better especially the back of it.

Great location next to several train stations, plenty of dining and shopping options in a very busy part of Shinjuku. Our one feedback is around our room. We had a non-smoking room, but our room still had a faint smell of smoke. Not sure if this was coming through the vents or if the room had previously been a smoking room. Everything else was okay and satisfactory for our time there.

Room too small, but sufficient for a short stay
The hotel staff were friendly, and the breakfast buffet has a good spread. However, only some food items, maybe 3-4, would be changed daily. It would be great if there are more food options considering the price point of their breakfast buffet. Room wise, the room is very small and there was no room for a luggage rack. We had to think out of the box and put our luggages under our beds. Do also be mindful that the washroom is also quite compact. It would be fine for a 1-pax stay I think, but for a 2 pax stay, the room would be quite cramp. Housekeeping wise, it would be great if the housekeeping staff could clear trash promptly and proactively. There were some days where the staff did not clear our trash after cleaning our room, and we had to write a note to remind them to clear our trash in order for them to do so. Overall, it was a great stay for me except for some minor hiccups and dissatisfactory areas.
