Loved being able to share the rooftop experience with my friends! Bar nun the best view of DTLA and the hills. Lovely staff and excellent service. I was not expecting the rock vibe (although it’s well advertised) and interior decoration was a little gaudi, but i felt safe as a traveling solo female. The male staff were all great and the room was clean. Just needs better aeration in the hallways and rooms. Felt a little stuffy in the hallways when I arrived at nighttime. Great hustle and bustle vibe in the morning so don’t walk out in your wig to get the free coffee; you never know who is going to be in the lobby!

Liked that it's in a safe area, it's quite. Pool looked nice but it was a chilly day unfortunately. Disliked that they left a welcome card in the room from the previous guest. Made me wonder if the room really got cleaned. The towels looked like they were replaced. The fruit in the bowl started getting moldy. There was a squeaking sound coming from the bathroom wall so I had to close the door to sleep. The floor lamp has a blue light switch that never goes off. You can not turn off the light by the bed without getting out of bed. The floor light was nice when you get out of bed in the night but would have liked it a bit dimmer. Overall a nice hotel, just have some tweeking to improve.

This was a nice property to stay at. Great staff! Very accessible to the surrounding dining and entertainment options. The only thing I didn’t like was the thermostat for the room. It just didn’t work. Luckily, I didn’t freeze due to the weather being mild. Other than that, 5 stars.

Received an 18% auto-grat when ordering 2 drinks at the downstairs bar. Thankfully my wife pointed it out so I didn't double - tip. ($49 for 2 drinks) In the morning, their coffee "jug" was empty and they refused to refill it. Went on to charge guests for a black coffee. Another guest and I spoke to front desk and he reluctantly allowed us to get a cup from he breakfast side of hotel. Just an odd experience in total. My wife and I have had good experiences in past stays at this hotel.
