The property was a bit dated but all seemed functional. The air conditioner went out and they had to adjust the sensor. Communication was fair to poor. We asked for extra blankets twice before we got them. We asked for salt and pepper and they would not provide it for us. We asked for extra soap and toilet paper twice and it never came. We had to complain once about the loud late night swimming after 10pm, but they got shoed away by security. The last night, the folks above us coughed so loud constantly, we thought he must have COPD. Finally, they woke up at 5:30 and sat out on the deck coughing and talking to the point I had to get up. Too bad. Thank goodness we checked out that day!

I'd come back again
This was our second time staying at this resort. We like the easy beach access, kitchen, washing machine, the pools and how they are orientated on the property, ocean view, and ease of walking access to local stores and restaurants. The property might not be as fancy as some others in the areas but it makes up for it with it's location and amenities. This time our room was a little smaller but more updated than last time. It's still come back again.

Check in was easy and they text us when the room was ready early. Front desk staff were very friendly. Room was little dated but very comfortable and clean. Two heated pools with easy access to the beach. We would stay here again.

We were a party of 12, with ages varying from 2-60. We shared two suites, which they helped us be right next to each other. The property was a little older and showing its age but rooms were spacious. The suites were well appointed, with well stocked kitchens for cooking and lots of storage space. Free activities were great and kept us busy, including their Christmas party, stocking votes, ukulele lessons and lei making ($). Pools were great for all ages. Being right on the beach was perfect, though the sand area was a little small and inclined. Staff were very friendly.

I received multiple communications before, during and after my trip to Aston Ka'anapali Shores. The check in was fast and easy. I love that the room had a little kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, dining area, and living room with a couch that can turn into a bed. It had washer and dryer too! But it's old and definitely needs upgrading. It was clean tho so thumbs up for that.
