Super clean, which is a huge must for me. Close proximity to bus stops and the Fashion Valley Transit Center is within a 20 minute walking distance. There are two on-site restaurants, but we can only speak for The Waffle Spot where we had breakfast a couple of mornings. Huge portions and the food was delicious. Highly recommend King's Inn if you're looking for a no-nonsense, budget-friendly, clean, convenient place to stay. Bonus points for the hot tub and midcentury modern vibe complete with a tiki bar near the pool.

Comfortable Stay
The bed was comfortable and the pillows where plentiful and fluffy. The Waffle Spot had great food and great service. My only negative is the bathroom needs remodeling and the towels were starting to get a little threadbare. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. The pool and jacuzzi looked fantastic although I didn’t use either. I would definitely stay again!!

Rooms were decent and super clean. Bed and pillows were great. Pool and hot tube were nice as well. The only negative was the door to an adjoining room. It let a lot of noise in from the other room.

What a WONDERFUL stay. Traditional mom and pop old school hotel in great condition. Best waffles around right at the hotel. Extremely easy commutes to Old Town and San Diego Zoo. Nice little pool/hot tub area with laundry room as well. Easy parking. Reasonable rates and friendly staff.
