The room i booked was perfect for my family. It allowed me to cook for my family since my husband is on a diet restriction. There was plenty of space for my teenage children to sleep. In addition all the location we wanted to visit were only 15-20 minutes drive, which is not too bad since the I-805 was newrby. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at this place again if we are in San Dieog area.

While staff was courteous and professional, the property and room are not of good quality. There was construction right next to the hotel. Noise started as early as 6am. The carpet was wet from shampoo which made the floor sticky. The bathroom light had a malfunctioning motion sensor. When you are doing your business, the light will go off. The gym was dirty and unkept. Overall, i would not revisit not recommend this place to any of my friends or family.

As always, Residence Inn didn't disappoint. Easy check in and out process, good coffee and decent breakfast options. Well equipped quiet rooms. Only minus is that they charge for parking which i think nowadays should juat be included in the rate...but hey, its California, so, it is what it is.
