Excellent location where it’s in a quiet area and the busy shibuya area is just 15 minutes away by walking. A family mart is next door. The room is not small at all and is cleaned every day. Reception is 24 hours. There is Airconditioning and heater.

I had the pleasure of staying at Tabist New Washington in Shibuya for a month, and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Tokyo. The friendliness of the staff made me feel so welcome.Their kindness and care transformed my stay into something special. Every morning, I was greeted with cheerful smiles as I headed out for the day, every evening, they welcomed me back like an old friend.A meaningful part of my routine that I will never forget. Their willingness to help with anything I needed—whether it was providing guidance or just a friendly exchange—made every interaction with them a joy and important to me. The staff here is a small, tight-knit group, and while language might have been a barrier at times, their appreciation and genuine care always shone through. They were the heart of my experience, and saying goodbye at the end of my stay was bittersweet. The location was perfect for me. I wanted to be close to the energy of Shibuya and its rock music scene but have a respite from the hustle of Shibuya Scramble. This hotel struck the balance. It’s in an area with easy access to local shows, but it’s not overwhelming. Being near multiple transit stations—and even having a bus stop right out front that takes you to Shinjuku—was so convenient. Thank you, Tabist, for making my dream trip to Tokyo so unforgettable. The memories of your warm greetings and exceptional hospitality will stay with me for a lifetime. I’m already looking forward to the day I can return!

Friendly service, clean rooms, pleasant stay.
We enjoyed our stay at OYO Hotel in one of the traditional Japanese rooms. There is limited room to put multiple suitcases (we had one large and one medium size between two people) due to not wanting to ruin the tatami, resulting in us leaving them in the small hall between the front door and toilet. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay - always a friendly greeting at reception when we entered / left the building, clean room, and fairly easy access to / from the JR Shibuya station (approx. 10 minute walk).
