Very nice stay
Overall a great location and fairly well renovated property. Everything you need to enjoy the sun and fun. Just keep in mind these buildings were built in the 60’s or 70’s and while they are very clean and moderately updated the facilities are older.

I love this resort because it has everything in the room it is complete, it is spacious and clean. I would recommend it. The staff are nice. Although the pool is small and not able to accommodate all guests and bar is small and hot tub has a lot of people always. But the the view is stunning it is not by the ocean but still nice. I had a great time during our stay in Hawaii and this resort made it better.

The property was nice. The staff were friendly. We never used the main pool partly because you couldn’t take your own drinks (and I believe food) into the pool, so if you wanted to enjoy a beer by the pool, you were forced into a $9 beer plus a tip. I thought that was too much on the side of profit rather than showing the guests a good relaxing time by the pool. There was a grocery store and a Longs Drugs not far, so that was good. The property is way on the south side of Kona, and the beaches are way on the north, so I found the location to be too far from the beaches. Every day was a long drive. But as far as the room and the staff, it was great!
