Breakfast was pathetic, repetitive and with very limited choices. Checkout time was 11am. We booked for 4 rooms, asked for a late checkout till 12noon, was told that we need to pay 2000 yen per room for the additional1 hour. This was the first time that I encountered that a hotel requested to pay a surcharge for an hour extension. The willingness for the hotel to extend as many hours as we wanted if we pay indicated they are not rushing to release the rooms to the next guests. Strange policy.

Excellent breakfast Polite efficient friendly staff Excellent location for multiple metro stops Less than GBP 50 for non booked taxi from Haneda Airport Safe and secure and quiet Many 7 11s within 5 min walk for a cheap tasty meal also 5 min to Tokyo underground malls for food etc

Nice and clean hotel close to Tokyo station and walkable to shopping in Ginza. Courteous hotel staff who were prompt in responding to our requests for additional water bottles, answering questions about the area. I wish the laundry facilities would be expanded though. Highly recommend for a place to stay in Tokyo and would happily stay there again!

Great location. Really close to Tokyo station Central entrance. It’s very convenience if you want to take subway train, sinking sing or Narita express you can buy tickets at the counter or on the kiosk however, the staff is not that good. I walked out of Central only a 0.3 mile walk right across the street but somehow the front deck step couldn’t tell me and end up have to call taxi found out cross the street.

Slightly disappointed with our stay in June 2024. Upon entering the room, the bathroom had a urine smell. We let it go for about 24 hours before going down to the front desk to inquire about cleaning our rooms (we had two rooms). There was some miscommunication, as it was believed that we had placed a notice on the door requesting only towels to be changed and garbage to be taken out. However, we had made a request with the front desk to have the room cleaned the next day, yet the bathroom still smelled like urine. This wasn’t my first time staying at a Mitsui Garden property, and I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel where the bathroom smells like urine. Considering how much we paid, the bathroom should’ve been cleaned better. This left an impression on my family, as it was our first time visiting Tokyo. We were also charge additional tax upon arrival. However, the lounge view, coffee/tea service with snacks in the late afternoon, and the breakfast served were pretty good, which somewhat made up for it. But we won’t be returning to this property. We should’ve followed our gut instinct and chosen another hotel. We went with this property because of its proximity to Tokyo Station.

Good location as Tokyo station was right around the corner and below the hotel is an underground shopping mall with restaurants. In the afternoon the lobby opened up with complimentary drinks and snacks. Room was small but super doable. Had a good stay.
