We just had to stay here when I saw the robot front desk on the website- fun! The location was absolutely fantastic. Great restaurants all around us and so close to the subway and trains. We would stay here again. A slightly lower rating for staff and service because the only staff available didn’t speak English and the robots couldn’t exactly help us when we had a question. (lol)

Love the room I got. Twin bed in a single room. Rather narrow but it works for an average sized person with 1 luggage. Hotel is very simple, very self-service. On the 2nd floor (which is the reception area), there is a baggage storage area you can conveniently leave your luggages at if it’s not time for you to check in to your room yet, and there is a microwave for guests’ use, vending machines for drinks, and a laundry room for guests’ use. If you don’t need much hotel service, this hotel is perfect. Highly recommend for solo travellers as it is a mere 2 mins walk to Asakusabashi station east exit, hence very convenient and safe. Saw a few families as well, I guess it works for small families (up to 4 pax?) The only problem I faced was I wanted to use the kettle to boil water, but the spout was dusty… so I didn’t get any hot water during my stay unfortunately. Other than this, I’ll still come back to this hotel for my solo trips to Tokyo.

Hotel was great & clean overall. It's conveniently located near 2-3 subway lines and lots of small local restaurants nearby. Our reservation was for 2 adults and a 13 yr old daughter for a TwinExtra room. HOWEVER, after checking in, we found that the sofa bed had no bedding/pillow so we asked the staff to provide. We were told that a child is under age 3 and we had to pay EXTRA 2000yen/day for our daughter to stay. On their website, for the TWINEXTRA rooms have [Capacity] 3 adults 2 children under 6 !! Why did we get charged more?? It was not that much but I feel we shouldn't be paying for it when website says the room can hold 3 adults 2 kids (under 6). Minus a star.

nice hotel for fun experience.
Fun experience having robot receptionists. The room was smaller than other hotels we stayed, but very confortable and clean. the hotel was locared close to train station as well. good value for money.

Everything about this hotel is good; not too fancy, but you have everything that you need, and you can tell that everything has been thoughtfully chosen, and placed to suit your traveling needs. I really liked HenNa, I wish that I had stayed longer and would definitely reccomend it to young professionals traveling alone, but I also saw a few small families there as well so I believe they are accommodated as well. Check in is efficient and easy in many languages, but the kind staff can help you if needed. I liked this hotel, if I return I will stay again; a connected resturant provides Japanese breakfast and very good Indian curry for lunch as well.

Just 2-3 minutes walk to a Asakusabashi station and the train line can bring me straight to Haneda! And the best thing is their baggage storage function, I can leave my luggage at hotel for free when I check out. As long as I take it back anytime before 23.59pm same day which suit me very well because I have a night flight. The check in and out process is good, i don’t need any assistance anyway. Small room but after moving away the 2 chairs, I can leave open 2 baggage under the table. Can’t complain with the price. Good for short stay

I never stay in a hotel with dirty quilt cover. The provided quilt cover was not cleaned properly and was stained with dirt. I stayed there for 3 days, request for room clean up but they didn't change my bedsheet and quilt cover at all after my first night. The location of the hotel is great but I would never stay there if I will travel to Japan again. And the robot is not really a surprise. It just like a self serviced hotel.

The self check-in was problematic because the hotel's computer required that the name be entered without a space between the first and last - despite the reservation confirmation having a space. It took time to figure this out. In the room, two lights did not work. And the room smelled old.
