Nice hotel with a beautiful lobby located in a quiet neighborhood full of shops and restaurants. Service is good and staff tries to help you anyway they can. Communicating is difficult due to the language barrier, but this is no Europe. Take an electronic translator with you. Rooms are OK, if a bit of outdated with a dim lighting and lack of night tables. Bathroom lighting is very dim and absence of magnifying mirror makes it difficult to do all your necessary hygiene procedures. I think all above said is all acceptable to the point. What is not acceptable, that the hotel chargers ¥4400 every time you want to use health club and swimming pool. It is certainly doesn't adhere to the standards of world-class properties around the globe. Especially, at this hotel's price point. That is simply unacceptable. Overall, if you don't plan to use the health club and reserve this place far in advance for a good price, go for it. Otherwise, much better properties are available.

The hotel is old, rooms are small, though clean. The room with 2 standard beds with an extra bed is the same size as the normal 2 standard beds, they just squeeze another bed into the small room. They charge higher price and a lot extra tax. Breakfast is not included and they charge ¥6500 per person for breakfast. There is a currency exchange machine and the rate is pretty good. This place is convenient, a limouzine bus stop is right at the hotel, 30 minutes to HND and one and half hour to NRT. There are also many places to eat nearby and a shopping mall plus a supermarket. You don't need to go to Lawson cross street like we did if you want to just grab something quick, the supermarket has all you need and all is much cheaper. The subway station is about 10-minute walk.

This is a beautiful property Art Deco in style. Location is perfect to catch the metro from Toyocho station to Tokyo, Shibuya & other areas. Everywhere is clean & maintained every day. Outdoor pool facilities closed on the day we travelled & feel we should have been told about this point clearly as well as anyone with tattoos are not allowed to use it. Indoor is available for a fee which we did not use in the end.

This hotel was decent. The only issue I had was the room had a lot of old stains on the carpet but everything else was clean. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest train station. A big plus is having a shuttle to two stations which is great but you will need to make sure to check what time they leave as they are only avaliable during the mornings to day time, not evenings. Beds were pretty comforable and what not

Disappointing hotel, number one the front desk staff barely spoke English, could not explain anything. Supposedly guests have to pay additional fees to use the pool, how ridiculous is that. The main section in the lobby was mostly closed and was only available if you pay to have some kind of set meal, so it was pretty much no area to sit in the lobby. For breakfast in the morning had to wait to be sited for 20 min, very small restaurant for a big hotel like this. Nothing around the hotel to see or walk around, far from the center of the town, really, have nothing positive to say about this hotel.

THE GOOD PART. (1) Below the hotel (entrance is outside) is a newly developed shopping and dining area. There are some food places, coffee shops, a Family Mart, a drugstore, a 100 Yen shop, a Summit grocery store, a SoftBank and Y! Mobile branch, some ATMs including the 7-11, etc. (2) There is an airport shuttle service available through a 3rd party company. It is a limousine bus. It costs 1,100 yen to get to Haneda Airport Terminal 3. You have to book it yourself on a website. The bus is stationed just outside the hotel. (3) There is a FREE train station drop-off on a limited availability. But none is going back to the hotel, you can either walk for 12 minutes or hire a taxi for about 1,100yen from the station to the hotel. (4) The guest relations staff speak English. THE BAD PART. (1) The room is outdated. The carpet is so old that it looks dusty. This is probably the reason why they have an air purifier inside the room. There is no USB outlet. You need an adapter. (2) There is no laundry service. When I asked, I was given a map of a 3rd party facility, which I think is quite far to walk on a hot and humid sunny day. (3) The breakfast buffet costs 3,050yen. I ate there twice. It is the same dishes for both days. (4) You have to pay an additional 6,000yen per person (adult) to use their picturesque pool. (5) There is no coffee inside the room. You have to go all the way to the breakfast hall to get it. They have some packets of tea bags though, if this suffices.
