Nice location. Quiet part of Ginza but still accessible. Hotel rooms are small. We got an inside connecting room. It was tiny but at par for hotels in tokyo. Bed is comfortable. Room in general is comfortable, but showing signs of wear. Front desk is efficient. They are strict on key return.

Pros: Excellent breakfast buffet, good-sized room. Convenient location, walkable. Cons: Check-in area/process small, crowded, inefficient. Staff could be friendlier. Had to ask for room change because someone was clearly smoking profusely on floor of original room. Older hotel needs refurbishing.

Excellent hotel
We have stayed at the Monterey Ginza many times. It is very well located. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable and the rooms are a very good size. It's an excellent place to stay.
